Cannabidiol is also shorthand for CBD. It is one of the cannabinoids (113 compounds) found in Cannabis Sativa L., also known by simply hemp.

CBD is well known for supporting the mind and body in many ways. CBD has many wonderful benefits. Users report feeling calm, relaxed, and able to recover from exercise-induced inflammation.

So how does CBD oil feel when you use it? Does CBD oil make you feel calm? Can CBD oil relax you? Is CBD oil good for you? We’ll get into the details, but first it’s important that you note something.

It all depends on the needs of your body.

CBD acts as an adaptogenic. Also known by the term “adaptogens,” CBD can be used to help your body adjust to different emotional and physical stresses . This will allow you to get more of what you need while improving your overall health.

Human Endocannabinoid System

CBD activates our Endocannabinoid System.

Cannabinoids are different in their behavior. This means that one can trigger only one receptor while the others can bind to all. CBD does not bind with CB1 nor CB2, and instead alters these receptors using other pathways.

Cannabinoids serve as a primer in nerve endings. They allow your brain to communicate more effectively and efficiently with your body. This is done in order to return your body to normal levels of health or equilibrium known as “homeostasis.”

CBD doesn’t have immediate effects, but CBD can be seen by consumers over time.

What does CBD make you feel? Can You Feel CBD?

CBD, unlike many natural remedies has an effect on the body that you can feel. Contrary to many natural remedies, CBD does have an effect on you that you will feel.

CBD can be used to reduce anxiety, pain, inflammation and other health issues. It takes a few days, up to three to seven days, and up to 2-4 week of consistent CBD dosing for results to become apparent.

It really depends on how bad your case and your body’s response to CBD. Also, it will depend on your individual biology and the quality and quantity of CBD products.

So, how does CBD make us feel? It all depends on some factors.

CBD’s flexibility is something that’s both amazing and perplexing. To understand this better, let’s look at CBD’s adaptogenic potential.

Adaptogens refer to plants and extracts that aid in the body’s adaptation to biological changes and stressors, such as immunological activity. According to theory, Cannabis L. and full spectrum whole-plant extract might fit the adaptogen definition. CBD however, is a molecule and not a herb or extract.

CBD products are not labeled. They exhibit the same behaviors as approved adaptogens.

CBD extracts’ adaptogenic properties allow for a range of effects. They can even conflict with each other, depending on what your body needs. The CBD extracts can make your brain more active in the day. This could lead to clearer thinking and more energy.

The opposite is true at night. CBD will be used as a sleep aid and general relaxation medication during inactive periods.

Another example is CBDs seemingly opposite effect on eating habits. One 2018 CBD research reported that CBD could have side effects, such as an increased or decreased appetite. This was based on the individual participants.

CBD can be relaxing or stimulating, depending what your brain and bodies need. You won’t notice any mental or physical impairment as THC causes.

How does CBD make you feel?

You’re not alone if you believe higher doses have more beneficial effects. It makes perfect sense. We all should now know that CBD seems contrary to common expectations.

CBD behaves as a “bell curve” or “ushaped” when it comes to dosage. Its side effects are biphasic. As the doses increase, CBD’s effectiveness decreases.

In other terms, too much CBD is just the same as too little. Dosage requirements vary widely, from a few hundred to several hundred of milligrams daily. If you go over the “sweet spot,” the effects can become weaker and eventually stop.

Another issue is that CBD in higher doses can cause tolerance. This means you will need to take three to seven days to recover your tolerance and switch to a lower CBD dose.

CBD is also known to cause side-effects. These effects can intensify when you increase your CBD dosage. In a moment, we’ll discuss that.

CBD Oil Can Give You a Buzz or High?

CBD oil is not going to give you a buzz. THC and, in a smaller amount, cannabinol or (CBN) have been identified as the main cannabinoids responsible for impairing motor and mental function.

CBD does NOT bind to CB1 or CB2 receptors. THC, and many other cannabinoids, can be affected by CBD. Instead, cannabidiol works along different pathways, changing the behavior and shape endocannabinoid receptors.

CB1-CB2 receptors, once altered, may be able to bind differently (or not at all) to other cannabinoids. CBD is not as potent as THC and its effects are blocked by THC. CBD, therefore, can reduce THC intoxication.

We hear from our customers about the effects of CBD.

CBD’s reported health benefits can be backed by evidence – and there are plenty of them. Although individuals may mention specific conditions, these are just their observations. These claims were not reviewed by FDA. CBD is not being used to treat, prevent or cure any illnesses.

Barbara H (of TrustPilot) tried Colorado Botanicals the 3,000 mg oil. Despite the fact that she laments the cost of the oil, she can’t deny it is worth the investment.

“…To help with pain associated to fibromyalgia/arthritis. It’s actually helped me lower my pain. It dramatically reduced the severity and duration of the pain I suffer every day. It seems to be a bonus that it makes me feel better when I sleep and relaxes.

CBD vs.

THC and CBD may have therapeutic overlaps, but the overall experience can be described as night and day.

We already know CBD doesn’t cause intoxication. CBD can be used to relieve symptoms, but not through ECS receptors. THC has powerful intoxicating effects.

THC is not without its flaws. It’s used by many people for the same reasons that CBD is so well-known. However, each person’s experience with CBD is different.
